Vicky Maier: Creature Chronicles

Vicky Maier ist Storyteller:in und verwebt wahre und fiktionale Geschichten, das Ernste mit dem Lustigen und arbeitet mit auto-biografischer sowie auto-ethnografischer künstlerischer Forschung.

Die 2023 am Home of Performance Practices (NL) entstandene Performance Creature Chronicles kombiniert Theater mit Comedy und Drag. Inhaltlich erzählt Vicky mehrere Geschichten gleichzeitig: von deren Erlebnissen im Kabarett sowie von einer Wolperdinger Jagd in Bayern. Dabei behandelt Vicky das Thema Gender-Identität und die Friktionen, die dey als nicht-binäre Person erlebt – vor allem in der Comedy-Welt. Während Vicky über Möglichkeiten ethischer Comedy nachdenkt, balanciert dey das Verwurzelt sein in einer konservativen, heteronormativen, ländlichen Gegend in Süddeutschland und deren queeres Leben.

Flona: Bad Girls Go EVERYWHERE

Sick of patriarchy and sexism, Flona takes the stage to show the world a non-white feminist perspective in a humorous sarcastic way.

She can be dark, but takes the audience softly into her life journey as a law studying comedian. In her solo program she wants to tell her story as a born Syrian woman who had to live through a war as a teenager and flee with her parents to the land of enlightenment and human rights. 6 years later, Flona is shocked by the reality Europe is living in: Gender pay gap, men telling her she is not able to finish law school, because she is JUST a woman. and more!
